Meet Michelle | Willow Florals Wedding Florist

Michelle grew up surrounded by flowers. Her mum owned a flower shop in the picturesque village of Adare, County Limerick, where Michelle took her first job and developed a lifelong connection to floristry. Although she initially followed a career in visual merchandising and retail management, flowers remained a much-loved hobby until she was encouraged to train professionally and turn her passion into what is now Willow Florals, a bespoke wedding florist based in Limerick.

Michelle’s floral style is romantic, wild and naturally unstructured. She loves working with locally grown flowers and foliage when they are in season, complemented by premium blooms sourced from the Dutch flower market. Her designs are abundant, organic and full of movement, creating bespoke wedding flowers that feel personal and beautifully connected to their surroundings.

With a desire to reduce the use of single-use plastics within the floral industry, Michelle has trained in foam-free wedding floral design. This approach allows her to create natural, sculptural arrangements without relying on traditional floral foam, resulting in wedding flowers with an effortless, organic feel.
