Wedding Florist FAQs

Wedding Florist FAQs

1. What does a wedding florist do?

A wedding florist helps bring your floral vision to life, from choosing seasonal flowers and creating bouquets to designing ceremony arrangements and reception installations. At Willow Florals, we work with you to create bespoke floral designs that reflect your personal style, colour palette and wedding venue.

2. Where is Willow Florals based?

Willow Florals is based in Shanagolden, County Limerick. We create bespoke wedding flowers for couples across Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Galway and throughout Ireland.

3. Do you provide wedding flowers outside Limerick?

Yes. We work with couples across Ireland and can travel to venues outside Limerick. Travel expenses may apply, depending on your wedding location.

4. What wedding flowers do you provide?

Our wedding floral services include:

  • Bridal bouquets and bridesmaid bouquets

  • Buttonholes and corsages

  • Ceremony flowers and installations

  • Reception flowers and table arrangements

  • Floral arches and statement installations

  • Venue styling and floral details

  • Flower arrangements for the wedding party and special guests

Every wedding is individually designed around your requirements.

5. What is your floral design style?

Our style is romantic, wild and naturally unstructured. We love working with seasonal flowers, movement, texture and abundant arrangements that feel organic rather than overly formal. Each design is created to complement your personality, wedding venue and overall aesthetic.

6. Do you use locally grown and seasonal flowers?

Where possible, we use locally grown flowers and foliage from Irish flower farmers, as well as flowers from our own cut flower garden. We also work with premium Dutch blooms when required to achieve the colour palette, variety or seasonal availability needed for your designs.

7. Are your wedding flowers sustainable?

Sustainability is an important part of our floral design approach. All Willow Florals arrangements are created without floral foam, helping to reduce the use of single-use plastics. We also consider seasonal flowers, locally grown blooms and ways to repurpose flowers throughout your wedding day.

8. What is the minimum wedding flower spend?

Our minimum wedding floral spend is €2,000. Delivery, setup fees and travel expenses outside Limerick are charged separately, depending on your requirements and wedding location.

9. How do I enquire about wedding flowers?

You can begin by completing our wedding enquiry form. We will ask for details such as:

  • Your wedding date

  • Ceremony and reception venues

  • Estimated floral budget

  • Your preferred style and ideas

  • Details about the flowers you require

We will then check our availability and send you further information about the next steps.

10. When should I book my wedding florist?

We recommend enquiring as early as possible, particularly if you are getting married during the popular spring and summer wedding season. Willow Florals accepts a limited number of weddings each month, allowing us to give every couple a thoughtful and personal service.

11. Do you offer wedding consultations?

Yes. Once your date and booking deposit have been confirmed, we arrange a full consultation to discuss your floral vision in more detail. This is an opportunity to explore your colour palette, preferred flowers, venue styling and the overall atmosphere you would like to create.

12. Can you work with my wedding colour palette?

Absolutely. We work closely with you to develop a floral colour palette that complements your wedding styling, venue and personal preferences. Whether you prefer soft neutrals, romantic pastels, rich seasonal tones or something more unexpected, we can help bring your vision together.

13. What happens on the wedding day?

Your bridal flowers are delivered in the morning. We can also arrange and install your ceremony and reception flowers, depending on the services included in your booking.

Where possible, we transfer ceremony flowers to the reception after the ceremony to make the most of your floral arrangements.

14. Can wedding flowers be reused during the day?

Yes. Where possible, we repurpose ceremony flowers for the reception. Flowers in hired vessels may also be rearranged into jars or trays, allowing you to enjoy your flowers in different areas of your celebration.

15. What happens to the flower vessels after the wedding?

We provide hired vessels for selected arrangements. These are generally collected the following morning, allowing you to enjoy your wedding day without needing to organise their return immediately.

16. Do you design flowers for events other than weddings?

Our main focus is wedding flowers, but we may be able to accommodate selected events and celebrations depending on our availability and the scale of your requirements. Please get in touch to discuss your event.

17. How can I contact Willow Florals?

You can contact Willow Florals by completing our online enquiry form or emailing info@willowflorals.ie.

We would love to hear about your wedding plans and discuss how we can create flowers that feel uniquely yours.
